It’s not a good day

I just wanted to pop on to let you know that we’re losing our little one. The ultrasound didn’t show anything, so the ER doc is a bit concerned about the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy.  I’ll be having a follow up this weekend.

Update:  Thanks to a generous friend, I was able to get my lab results back even though the doc I saw had gone for the day.  My bhcg was down to 197.  The ER doc didn’t see anything on the ultrasound because there was no longer anything to see.  I’m not worried about an ectopic pregnancy.  I just need to get through this.

While I appreciate your celebrating with me and praying for me, I am not up to comments just yet, so I’ll turn them off for this post.

God bless you, God love you, God grant you peace.

Jesus, I trust in You!

God is good all of the time!

My song for this dark hour:

Apparently, I can’t actually embed that video.  Lame.  Here are the lyrics:

Blessed Be Your Name

Tree 63
written by Matt and Beth Redman
My thanks to them for putting my
soul into song and helping me through my grief.  Again.

Blessed be your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where the streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
When I’m found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,
I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

Blessed be your name
When the sun’s shining down on me
When the world’s all as it should be
Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there’s pain in the offering
Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,
I turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say…
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, Blessed be your name
