The Numbers

I thought I’d post “the numbers” just for fun…

This is my 16th pregnancy, 17th child

If we make it to term…

Baby will be born by 30/8/2011 (30 August)

We will have 7 children in our family here below (assuming there is only one… there is only 1 factor for increased odds for naturally conceived twins that I can’t count:  I’m not black.  Blacks have the greatest incidence of fraternal twins, but I’m thinking singleton even though I fit in all the others.)

We currently have 3 sons and 3 daughters.  This one is the “tie-breaker”.

I will be 46 at delivery

Chief will be nearly 49

There will be a 5+ year difference between TheBoy and TheBaby

The age span of our kids will be nearly 26 years

Gariníon will be 15 months older than her aunt/uncle.

Assuming that things go normally, (my normal!) I expect birth to happen between 10 and 18 days past my actual due date…  30/8/2010 takes that into consideration.  Of course, I’m thinking VBAC… hmmm.

NOT your typical American family! 😀

You are in my prayers…I am pulling for you!! God is good!!

  2. KC says:

    That’s my oldest girl’s birthday!

  3. Elisa says:

That is awesome! Do the VBAC!

    • That is my plan… my only concern is finding a provider who will support that decision. I absolutely do NOT want surgery again (though I’m grateful for having had it… it saved my son’s life!)

  4. Chief and you are the same age respectively as Husband Extraordinaire and me…we are not your American typical family either. Viva la difference!

  5. MimiDenise says:

I am beside myself with excitement! I will pray daily for you and yours!

Living an authentic Catholic life can be like a thrill ride, can’t it? You never know what is around the next bend.
Many, many blessings and prayers for you and your sweet baby.

  9. Keli says:

I am so very happy for both of you!!! Love the numbers! Why be typical when you can be extraordinary? ❤

  10. Carla says:

Oh I can hardly wait to see which way the majority will fall. It’s almost as good as watching the midterm elections and praying they go right! 🙂 Though I think it will be just as well if it’s a boy, I am going to root for Team Girl! 🙂

  11. MamaMidwife says:

The numbers are fun. Thanks for sharing. The authentic Catholic life indeed!

  12. Great numbers!

I have two sisters that are younger than my two oldest kids (My mom had her last child 7 years ago, at age 43) with a span between myself (the oldest) and the youngest of 26 years. 🙂
I will pray you get the birth that you desire. We all want a healthy baby, and will do whatever it takes to get one, but it is always nice when you can do it your way. 🙂
