A late visit

We had a long, full day with too few hours in it.  We only managed a short visit to Mary Clare’s grave, in the near dark.  I forgot a camera.  Chief’s (schmancy, new) iPhone has a flash, fortunately.  We plan to go back out sometime this weekend.  Her artificial flowers seriously need to be replaced and TheMadHatter always brings a little stuffed toy to Mary Clare’s grave but forgot it in our rush to get there before it was competely dark.  I’m glad we went, as imperfect as the visit was, and I look forward to going back soon.

pinecones. a tradition.

Happy birthday, Mary Clare.

How special to have a special little saint in Heaven to intercede for you! (bittersweet)

She was due about the time Cole was born. I can’t imagine life without him, and I’m still sorry you have to know your life without Mary Clare. Though I’m sure she knows your love, just as much as you know she’s “oh so happy” with Jesus.

  7. Tami says:

Today at church an older lady shared her feelings of having lost a child. She pointed out the most beautiful fact. Although her little boy was here such a short time, he is in heaven, with Jesus. He knows so much more than we will ever know here on earth. The anticipation of a reunion of heaven is her hope and joy.

Happy Belated Birthday to your little saint.

Happy birthday, St. Mary Clare. She is sitting at the feet of Jesus, praying for you all. Oh, the day you reunite! I’m so sorry for your loss.
