MSN’s heath site has an interesting article.  50 Ways to Cut 500 Calories a Day. Check out #21.

Go ahead.  I’ll wait for you.

See?  I HAVE to knit.  It’s for my health!

p.s.  I decided to *try* to do Lion’s KAL of the Inishturk sweater. (see the image on my sidebar) i had actually already downloaded that pattern and planned to make a couple of them this year anyway, so I’m hoping the knit-along will help me get a good pace going.  I know the pattern isn’t too difficult so I know I can knit the sweater successfully, I just hope that the pace is not more than I can do.  Worth a shot, I think.  MrsSoldierSon and I are going out for a bit today and I hope to get some yarn for this while we’re out.

I saw that knitalong as well, and I’d like to knit that sweater, although I might have to do it a bit after everyone else has finished – I’ve already got a sweater on the needles, and a couple of other larger projects lined up.
