Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Lisa asked if it snows here.  Not often and when it does, not much.  Also, usually, not in December~ especially early December! (now April is another story… see below.) But they say we may get some snow tomorrow!  I hope so.  TheBoy has been talking about snow, asking when it is going to snow and whether or not we can make a snow man.  I told him it really doesn’t snow much here.  He’ll be so thrilled if it snows and he can see it.  Here’s hoping!!

And now, here are some pics from Easter Sunday, 2007 (April 7th) and yes, this is Texas!

Love that snow cowboy! Being a New Englander, I never thought about putting a cowboy hat on a snowman! Very appropriate!
Hope you get some white stuff for The Boy.

  2. Carla says:

Have you ever seen the snow in a vial? My friends sent it to me when we lived in Florida. The kids enjoyed it. We played with it in a bucket.

It might make a fun stocking stuffer for The Boy. Ian thought it was pretty fun.

  3. KC says:

Um, I don’t have time for it to snow tomorrow. The snow needs to wait until after Nutcracker, please.

  4. Shawntele says:

Hoping you get some snow for the little guy to enjoy!

I’m trying not to get excited because I don’t want to be disappointed if it doesn’t. btw.. I think it’s time for snow on Christmas. We had snow on Valentine’s… what…2 years before the Easter snow? So yeah….snow on Christmas please. :0)

  6. Jennifer says:

I will never forget that year! Middlin, born and raised in the Southern Plains and a mighty hankering for snow, got it on his birthday that year. Dad was deployed then; that snow was the sweetest gift!

  9. Theresa says:

It’s not unusual to get snow this time of the year here in the Panhandle, even as early as Halloween. But we haven’t seen any snow yet up here, Amarillo did earlier in the week, but us, no. So if you get snow, please send it my way.
