NOT Going Under the Knife

CarKiller just called and told me that the surgeon advises against surgery at this time.  He is sure that CarKiller will need surgery at some point, but the hernia is very small and has no bulge, so the risks associated with surgery are not worth it right now.  He told him what to watch for and sent him back to duty!  I am glad he doesn’t need surgery (and its inherent risks).  I was kind of looking forward to the possibility of him spending a long time here with us on convalescent leave, but I am really glad he doesn’t need surgery.

Now if they can just figure out what is causing all the pain!!!!

good news that he doesn’t need an operation. Prayers that they find out what is causing the pain?

Glad to hear he doesn’t need surgery now. But, I’m with you..why the pain?! Hope he’s feeling better soon!

It’s good he wont need surgery -are they still investigating to see what the root of the pain problem is?
    God bless CarKiller.

  4. Yes, they are still trying to get to the bottom of the pain. They have already looked for stress fractures, but one of his docs is not convinced that he doesn’t have them and is ordering more tests to take a closer look. I hope they figure it out soon and can figure out a way to get it fixed.
