So Cute!

Yesterday when we were at the theater for auditions, there were several kids who came out because they saw “Alice in Wonderland” and were very excited to get an opportunity to perform.  Several of the younger members as well as their younger siblings recognized “The Queen of Hearts” and “The Mad Hatter” and were just giddy to get to meet them!

I was walking up the stairs, away from the stage, and I was behind a mom with three little ones.  I heard the mom telling the oldest of the 3 that yes, she could go see The Queen of Hearts.  This little girl was ecstatic!  She grabbed her younger brothers by the hands and ran up the stairs to go meet her.  It was so darn cute.

With that, I think I will change the girls’ nicknames here on the blog.  From now on, they will be known as:

The Queen of Hearts (formerly “GuitarGirl”)

The Mad Hatter (formerly MissKaboom)

and MissCreativity will now be known as:  “Milky White” (the cow… her character in Jack and the Beanstalk.  At least for now.  We’ll see how that fits for the longer term)

I think all the kids are/were in awe of all of the performers in Alice in Wonderland. Ian is still talking about meeting the “theaters” named The Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter. LOL.

Should I ask the girls for autographs? hehe I am glad they are loving the theater as much the community is enjoying see them put on these plays. I wish we had something like that around here for the kids, but alas all we have is sports. Atleast E-man can get more into the arts in 6th grade, but I am not rushing the aging process!

I love it! Love the nicknames too. They were so good as those characters. Ben wants to know if you were The Queen of Hearts’ role model. 😉
