Hey, It’s My Daughter!!!

GuitarGirl is pictured in our local paper.  She is the Queen of Hearts.  She is not identified by name, which is good and bad.  Good for safety concerns, bad because, well, she’s in the paper, she’s a main character and they didn’t identify her, they only identified the “Alices” (who are not pictured) in the article.  Weird.  I think this is the first article of this kind for this writer.  Hopefully time will improve things.

MissKaboom is the Mad Hatter and MissCreativity is a “major” flower, Lily.  She has actual speaking lines and a solo, but it appears that the director is considering cutting her solo because the other “major” flowers W.O.N.T.  S.I.N.G.  O.U.T.L.O.U.D!!!!! I think it is completely unfair to her. She’s worked so hard.  *sigh*

Check out the picture and article:

Don’t be late for this very important date (<link)

Update: Chief brought home a couple of papers (and is on the hunt for more!) and the feature on this production is really great!

In the “Scene” magazine, an 8 page supplement, there is a great spread in the center.  I’m going to take a snapshot of it and add it in a bit.I don’t know what they call those little teases/promotions for articles on the paper, across the very top of the front page, but MissKaboom is in the image there (though there is text coving most of the pic) and is also in a pic in those center pages.  MissCreativity is *technically* on the cover of the magazine, but she is behind her umbrella, so you can’t see her.  hrmph!
pics soon…

  1. Congratulations to your lovely daughter! She looks like she was born to play that part! Very cool that her picture is in your local newspaper!

P.S. Your daughter looks a LOT like you! You’re both very pretty!

May God Bless you and your family.

    • Thanks, Maria.

When I come in at the end of rehearsals and hear her running lines, I absolutely agree with you… she was born to play this part!

Yes, the poor girl does look like I do. Her eyelashes are so much thicker, longer and nicer, though! 🙂

That is a fabulous group of daughters you have! I wish them all the luck in the world with the play, though I doubt they will need it! hehe
