Plans For Today

our-lady-of-guadalupeToday I had hoped that we might make it to the Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Homeschool Group’s Advent/Virgin of Guadalupe activity, but of course, there are too few hours in the day.  (There probably would be plenty of hours  if I were better organized and scheduled! but I think that is for my New Year Resolution entry!)

I’m going to keep it simple today and just read Tomi de Paola’s The Lady of Guadalupe and make this Paper Bag Tilma found at Domestic-Church.com.  Well, I *am* eating “chernobyl beans” for breakfast… they have a healthy helping of jalepenos and habeneros…  which are often used in Mexican cooking… so does that count as a food related activity?  If so, I’ve got that, too!

Of course, there’s housework and laundry.  Fun times!

Later we have an appointment with a recruiter (meeting at our house.)  And finally, it is Opening Night for the VLA performance of A Christmas Story.  MissKaboom has a small part in the play.  Ought to be fun!
