Suffer The Children

Just a note about the image in my header:

This is a portion of the print I have hanging in my living room. The work is called “Suffer the Little Children to Come to Me” by Vlaho Bukovac, a Croation artist from the late 19th/early 20th century. My husband bought our print while he was deployed to Bosnia.

This painting always reminds me of the “joyful chaos” of life in a big family and how Jesus teaches us that the kingdom belongs to these. It also reminds me that it is my joy and duty to bring my children to Jesus.
