Halfway Done

My husband’s R&R is about halfway done. It has been so nice to have him home. We’ve not done too much “stuff” but we are enjoying having a bit of normal family time. Sadly our oldest son will not be joining us this weekend. He tried to get a “pass” to come home for the weekend, but he was denied. Thanks, Top. *sigh*

Our youngest, 22 months old, warmed up to his daddy immediately. There was no shyness or hesitation from him whatsoever! He knew who he was and was tickled to see him. He’s been quite attached to that dad (when he’s not attached to me, but THAT is a vent for another time!)

Just thought I’d explain my absence in case anyone wondered!

I am so glad that your sweet boy wasn’t shy at all with his daddy. That is always hard when they spend half of the R&R being shy and the other half attached to them LOL SO sorry your oldest couldn’t come home.
