Almost Time!

We’re down to the wire now! We are almost ready to leave on our trip. I know that there are a lot of unfinished things that I will wish we’d done or gotten to, but in the end, the most important thing is that we will leave and we will see that man we all love so much and of whom we are so proud!

I thank God for his mercy and love for protecting our son for all these long months. It has been very difficult for us all to have him over there. At the same time, I am so proud of him. I know that he has done some very good work and that his hard work has made a positive, lasting difference. I know he has seen and done very difficult things and I pray the the God of Mercy will continue to bless him as he makes his transition from the chaos of a war zone to the relative peace of being home. Please pray this with me for my son and for all of our returning heros.

I beg your prayers for all of us as we go on this great adventure! Please know that I keep all of our friends and family and all of my visitors here in my prayers.
