“Possible Related Links”

WordPress has added a new feature…. “Possible Related Links”.
It’s a neat idea, but I am finding in my blog stats that I’ve been linked at sites that I really don’t think are compatible with my blog. So I opted to turn off this option. Maybe one day it will be more discerning and more like-minded bloggers can get more traffic from each others’ blogs. For now, it’s not worth it.
If anyone has linked to a blog from here that surprised you ~ and it was not in an entry or in my sidebar, please know I had nothing to do with the “connection.”
For any other wordpress bloggers, if you’d like to turn this off,
- go to your dashboard
- then to designs
- then to extras
- check the box next to “Hide related links on this blog, which means this blog won’t show up on other’s blogs or get traffic that way” and save.
