I am sick.  I am very, very, very sick.  I’m running a fever of over 102 for nearly 3 days.  I had a lower grade fever for a few days before that.  I am achy and coughing.  It hurts to cough.  It’s hurts a lot.  I’m light-headed and I have no appetite (not a bad thing, I can spare a few pounds.)

So, no Penance service last night.  No Chrism Mass today.  I’m not even sure I’ll manage to talk about the Seder tomorrow.  Fortunately one of my girls is going to help serve at the Seder Supper at the parish.  Perhaps she can give the others a little lesson.

I really, really hope and pray I’m better by Thursday to begin celebrating the Triduum.

And yes.  I am whining.
