  • The Word Everyday

CatholicContent.com has a cool little widget that feeds the Mass readings into a neat little frame everyday. Unfortunately, wordpress does not allow me to put it on my page. So, instead, here is a link to the daily readings on the Bishops' site.

  • Praying for Our Godchildren

Lord, bless and protect these Godchildren you've given us. Keep them in your constant care and help them to grow in knowledge and love of you! Guide their parents as they impart to them the most important things in their lives: to know, love and serve you and to obtain, by Your grace and mercy, heaven one day! Assist us as we assist them and keep us ever mindful that we are always an example to these children just as we are to the children you've given directly to us. Help us to be good and holy examples! God, please bless: JC JC BC AC JC JC M&M NG SW HW AW

    So Glad

    by Tree63

    (partial lyrics)

I want to jump - I’m so scared

I want to swim - don’t want to get wet

How do I get to you- what do I have to do?

I want to pray - I need sleep

Don’t want to sow, I just want to reap

I know what you’re going to say: there’s something in the way

Will it ever end, this war inside me?

    I’m just so glad

That what I can’t, you can

    And where I end

    That's where you begin

    I'm just so glad...

Mother of Another Saint

I mentioned this yesterday, but I beg your prayers for my friend who lost her newest son (and saint) Mark Alexander.  Only 18 short weeks with us and dear little Mark has accomplished his mission on this earth already.  Mark is now home with God and in the company of his big brother, Luke.

Please join Mark and me (and all of the friends of this beautiful family) in prayer for his entire family as they grieve Mark and long for the day that they will all meet in heaven.
