Today is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today we celebrate an ancient feast of the Church in honor of The Blessed Mother being brought, body and soul, into heaven at the end of her life here on earth. Some dispute whether that was before death or after, but to me, that really doesn’t matter. What matters to me is the great hope this feast gives us that we too, one day, will be brought into heaven if we endure.
This is surely worth celebrating! We will have a feast and some cake (yum!) in honor of our Blessed Mother’s heavenly birthday.
Mary, Assumed body and soul into heaven, pray for us!

Today on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I prayed the rosary for your #2 son and his situation asking our Blessed Mother’s intercession.
I will continue to remember you and your family (especially #2 son) in my daily prayers and rosary.
May God Bless you.
